Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Deliver Keynote Address     at South Carolina Democratic Women’s Third Annual Day in Blue

Columbia, S.C. – May 24 – The South Carolina House Democratic Women’s Caucus and the South Carolina Democratic Women’s Council announced that former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will deliver the keynote address at the Third Annual 2015 Day in Blue.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, Day in Blue activities will begin at 9:45am in the lobby of the South Carolina State House.  Secretary Clinton will address participants at 1:45pm at the Columbia Marriott located at 1200 Hampton Street.

Women from across the state will gather during the morning to hear the vision for a better South Carolina and will be recognized by the South Carolina Speaker of the House at 10:15am.  Participants will attend ethics and self-care workshops and share ideas on becoming effective citizen advocates.

Registration is now closed.  The SC Democratic Women’s Council is a political activist organization working to support Democratic Women within the state. It’s a membership-based, grassroots organization consisting primarily of women.   SCDWC Chartered with the National Federation of Democratic Women in 2003 (www.NFDW.com).
